I am so excited to have a new blog design! I worked with Megan from A Bird in Hand Designs this past week and she was awesome! Anything I asked about she quickly adjusted and her designs were even better than I imagined. I highly recommend her for anyone who is thinking about it. Check her out here or click the picture below. It is a great investment considering all the hard work that we all put into our blogs, TpT products, and our classrooms.
There's my button above! :) I look at it as a portfolio or journal of my journey as an educator. The additional benefits are when others can use something I've tried out in their own classrooms. Let me know what you think! Here's my Sunday Scoop for the week. Jump over to the Teaching Trio to check out other's Sunday Scoops here or click the picture.
I just got a delivery from Scholastic and got some great new board books for my niece. It is so much fun to keep building her library. My sister's mother-in-law and I are both teachers and it's really fun to make sure she has some fun books to read. She's only 14 months, but she is already loving her books.
Grad school...I'm not quite sure what I'm thinking taking on another thing, but I truly love teaching literacy and I'm excited to build my knowledge in this area. I do not miss all the planning and some of the work it will take to complete it, but I love learning and refreshing my knowledge!
I've been trying to stay as consistent as possible with my workout schedule at home. I workout at least two times a week with friends, which makes a huge difference. I bought Turbo Fire a few years ago and just recently decided to start using it regularly. I found this great printable schedule online. I'm such a visual person and it helps me to see the progression of how I'm working through it. It's not an easy program and last week being sick threw me off a bit, but I really enjoy it! Check it out here. I take kickboxing once a week at my gym and this program is very similar.
